Job summary

National Health Care Associates, Inc. is hiring Registered Nurses for per diem shifts in our Maine long‑term care and rehab facilities. You will assess residents, develop individualized plans, administer medications, monitor vitals, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN license.
• Compassionate patient care with elderly/chronically ill.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and document medical information.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
• Oversee and guide LPNs and CNAs in delivering quality care.

What You’ll Do

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well‑being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
• Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care
