Job summary

Team Charlotte Swimming in Charlotte, NC seeks a full-time age group coach to lead 14 & under groups and help develop a seasonal plan. The role includes collaboration with a team of coaches and proactive communication with families to foster a safe, positive environment for young swimmers.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of USA Swimming coaching experience, current certifications, and a passion for growing competitive swimmers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years coaching experience as a USA Swimming certified coach.
• Up-to-date coaching certifications required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and contribute to a growing club.
• Working knowledge of Team Unify and Hy-Tek systems.
• Active involvement in the community and commitment to ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee a seasonal training plan for 3 practice groups.
• Lead 14 & under practice groups with potential senior level programming.
• Collaborate effectively with other coaches and staff.
• Communicate with parents, athletes and coaching staff in a timely manner.
• Assist with administrative tasks as requested.
