Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or high school diploma/GED and several years of comparable shop mechanic experience.
• 2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred.
• Experience with AGCO or Versatile products is a plus but not required.
• This role is safety-sensitive and will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.
• Own mechanic tool set and ability to maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, tillage equipment, and planters.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to safety procedures.
• Follow standard operating procedures and keep paperwork accurate (work orders, labor, parts).
• Attend formal training and assist to prepare new equipment for rent or sale.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot repairs and support customers.

Ziegler Ag Equipment sells and services the full line of Fendt tractors, combines, planters and application equipment. Other brands include Massey Ferguson, RoGator and TerraGator application equipment, TRION, Jaguar and tractors in select areas, as well as tillage and grain handling equipment. The pay range for this position is $27.00 to $45.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, tillage equipment, and planters
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, adhere to all safety procedures
• Follows standard operating procedures
• Cleans and organizes equipment
• Attends formal training
• Assists to prepare new equipment for rent or sale
• Provides assistance to all other levels of technicians as needed in regard to troubleshooting repairs
• Performs other duties as assigned/required
• Maintains paperwork documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily/job basis
• Documents labor, addition of segments, assuring that work order can be closed and billed as communicated with the customer
• Positively interacts with manager and team members to satisfy customer needs
• Communicates effectively with customers, both internal and external

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or high school diploma/GED and several years of comparable shop mechanic experience
• 2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred
• Previous experience with AGCO or Versatile products is a plus but not required
