Job summary

Fresh Express is seeking an Ag Operations Food Safety and Quality Manager to lead cross-functional food safety and quality initiatives across field, harvest, cooling, and manufacturing facilities. This role owns the raw-product quality scorecard and drives improvements with Ag Operations, FSQA teams, suppliers, and leadership.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least five years of experience in food safety/quality, and strong data analysis across growing regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Crop Science, Microbiology, Food Safety, or a related field is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in food safety, quality, agricultural operations, fresh produce, or related field; fresh produce experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAPs, GMPs, SSOPs, SOPs, HACCP, and GFSI certification requirements.
• PrimusGFS experience preferred and ability to analyze data to identify trends and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Owns and maintains the raw-product quality scorecard across all Fresh Express facilities.
• Leads investigations of customer complaints and communicates technical analyses to support reviews.
• Maintains PrimusGFS certification and audit readiness for cooling operations in multiple sites.
• Partners with Ag Operations and FSQA teams to drive continuous improvement across supply chain.
