Job summary

AgriVision Equipment Group and PrairieLand Partners (AVE-PLP, LLC) is seeking a Service Technician - Level 1 in Emporia, KS to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and dealer-owned equipment under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• One or more years of experience performing service repairs preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance using proper tools and procedures for the equipment the technician specializes in.
• Follows technical manual procedures during maintenance and repairs.
• Seeks direction from the Service Manager or senior technicians as needed.
• Maintains contact with customers about work performed on equipment.
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
