Job summary

AKRS Equipment in Nebraska is seeking a diesel technician to diagnose and repair agricultural and turf equipment, including AMS products. You will provide outstanding customer service and participate in training to grow your mechanical skills.

You will work with John Deere equipment, follow safety rules, and complete reports for each assignment. A high school diploma is required with 1+ year of experience; valid driver’s license required. AKRS supports career growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of diesel mechanic experience
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance
• Ability to perform basic computer functions
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in agricultural and turf equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
• A valid driver’s license is required

What You Bring

• 1+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic / technician performing service repairs
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment

• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
• A valid driver’s license is required
