Beth Israel Lahey Health in Haverhill, MA is seeking a Youth Group Leader to guide children and youth (ages 6–22) toward greater independence and positive relationships. The role focuses on social-emotional skill-building, community integration, psychoeducation, and vocational preparation within a supportive team.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in a human services field and at least 6 months experience with youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field from an accredited university or college.
• At least 6 months of hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, transition-aged youth, or families.
• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, a reliable vehicle, and a willingness to transport clients.
• Afternoon, evening and Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Engaging Groups: Plan and co-facilitate interactive sessions focused on social-emotional skill-building, community integration, psychoeducation, and vocational preparation.
• Provide Mentorship: Deliver impactful therapeutic intervention and group interventions directly within the community for youth and families.
• Be a Connector: Collaborate closely with other providers, natural supports, and families to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Drive Success: Provide and arrange reliable transportation for clients to and from group activities to eliminate barriers to clients accessing care. Mileage is reimbursed for approved work related travel.
• Keep Connected: Complete timely, accurate documentation and manage a flexible group schedule that adapts to client needs (afternoon and evening availability required).
