Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to join our Champions program, supporting families and elementary-aged kids after school on school grounds. You’ll lead, mentor, and implement our curriculum while building a safe, nurturing environment and partnering with parents.

As a team member, you will work to engage families, coordinate with center staff, and help programs meet accreditation goals. CPR/First Aid; CDA required or pursuing; 2–3 years ECE; Bachelor’s in ECE preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multitask.
• Active CDA credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy; state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
