Job summary

Bricks 4 Kidz Engineering Brick Club is seeking energetic instructors to lead after-school programs. You will supervise elementary students, deliver prepared STEM-rich lessons, and manage materials and safety protocols in a hands-on setting.

No advanced engineering experience required; training and curriculum provided. Part-time, in-person roles with opportunities for camps and events in the Miami area.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school, camp, childcare, or enrichment environments.
• Dependable, punctual, patient, and energetic.
• Comfortable leading groups of elementary-age children.
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to follow structured lesson plans.
• Weekday afternoon availability.
• Reliable transportation to program locations.
• Arrive 15–20 minutes before class.
• Able to lift 25–35 pounds.
• Background screening (Level 2) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Brick Club classes for children aged approximately 5–12.
• Follow Bricks 4 Kidz lesson plans and instructions.
• Introduce basic STEM and engineering concepts.
• Guide motorized and non-motorized building activities.
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and respectful participation.
• Maintain active supervision and positive classroom management.
• Record student attendance accurately.
• Follow school arrival/dismissal procedures.
• Prepare materials before class and organize afterward.
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and management.
• Report incidents or damaged materials promptly.
• Follow all child-safety and privacy procedures.
