Job summary

For Kids Only Afterschool (FKO) in Winthrop, MA is seeking an OST Educator for a part-time, afterschool program. You will supervise school-aged children, plan daily enrichment, and support families and teachers in a dynamic, caring environment.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, ready to complete CORI checks, and enthusiastic about mentoring kids aged 5–14. You will collaborate with the Executive Director and community partners to deliver a fun, safe, and educational experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years old and pass CORI, Background and Fingerprint Check
• Experience working with school age children (5-14 years of age)
• Creative and fun personality to implement curriculum and activities
• Excited and committed to making a difference in childrens lives
• Willing to accept other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive, safe, fun, and memorable quality experience to all children and families involved in FKOs afterschool and summer programs
• Supervise school-aged children enrolled in the program
• Plan and implement daily academic enrichment classes
• Facilitate consistent communication with FKO families
• Encourage children to participate in all activities and realize their full potential
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor to children enrolled
• Provide a physically and emotionally safe and fun environment for children to thrive
• Strive to achieve FKO goals and operate with the character values and mission in mind
• Incorporate the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all activities and interactions
