Job summary

Sittercity Incorporated is seeking a reliable after-school nanny in New York City for a 7-year-old boy, Monday–Friday, roughly 2:15PM–7:15PM during the school year. Responsibilities include school pickup, supervision, homework help, snacks, and arranging age-appropriate activities.

The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, energetic, safety‑conscious, with good communication skills and prior childcare experience. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, and occasional schedule changes may occur.

After-School Nanny — Part-Time/fulltimeLooking for a reliable, caring, and responsible nanny to provide after‑school care for my 7-year-old son Monday–Friday during the NYC public school year.Schedule:Monday–Friday, approximately 2:15PM–7:15PMApproximately 177 school days per school yearResponsibilities include:

• Pick up my son from school and safely bring him home
• Supervise and engage with him throughout the afternoon
• Help with homework and school-related activities
• Prepare simple snacks and/or meals
• Encourage reading, drawing, creative activities, and age-appropriate play
• Keep him on his normal after‑school routine
• Take him to nearby activities, the park, library, or other approved outings when appropriate
• Make sure he is safe, comfortable, and cared for until I return home
• Help keep his play/homework areas reasonably tidy after activities
• Communicate with me about how his day went, homework, meals, activities, and anything important

Ideal candidate:
