Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc in Milpitas is seeking part-time youth coaches to lead classes at elementary schools, Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, about one hour per session.

Sessions serve ages 5–10 with class sizes of 8–16. A two-day training is required, and sponsorship is not provided. Equipment is provided; you must have reliable transportation and be eligible for TB test and Live Scan background check. Pay is $50–$65 per session across Bay Area locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment is provided; coach should have reliable transportation.
• Take attendance, sign-ins, and communicate with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
