Job summary

Discovery Point is seeking a Childcare Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher by planning lessons and guiding children through activities designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.

You will help maintain a safe, healthy classroom and follow the approved curriculum across several centers, with opportunities to develop professionally in a rewarding, community-focused childcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required.
• Must be able to meet all state requirements for Assistant Teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with planning lessons and instructing children in activities according to the approved curriculum.
