Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking an After-school Program Leader for Portola Valley, CA, to inspire and guide students in a dynamic, kid-centered environment.

This part-time role runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, delivering engaging activities across fitness, arts, technology, and more, while fostering curiosity and belonging. Applicants must be 18+, hold a high school diploma or GED, and be able to meet state childcare licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
