Job summary

BMW of North America is hiring a seasoned Warehouse Supervisor in Lancaster, TX. The role oversees receiving, picking, packing, shipping, reverse logistics, and inventory control for BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce centers, ensuring quality, productivity, and service.

The position requires seven years in logistics/distribution, plus familiarity with BMW WM/SAP and unionized environments. Two shifts are available; relocation assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• Seven years of logistics/distribution experience.
• Experience managing in a unionized environment, preferred.
• Knowledge across all operational areas within supply chain distribution.
• Experience with distribution center operational process engineering and execution.
• Knowledge of general warehouse industry best practices and techniques.
• Familiar with Warehouse Management System functionality – SAP, BMW WM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse activities including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, reverse logistics, and inventory control for BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce retail centers.
• Supervise Warehouse Associates, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and customer service.
• Set strategic direction, manage process improvements, and monitor KPIs for maximum warehouse performance.
• Oversee data reporting, analyze performance metrics, and ensure alignment with BMW reporting requirements.
• Assign and adjust work duties, manage labor force, and execute corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.
• Organize workload, enforce process standards, and review work instructions to ensure timely completion.
• Coach, motivate, and develop staff while handling resource planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain safety, compliance, inventory, and equipment, and support special projects as needed.
