Job summary

Mattress Firm is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Denver to help with receiving, storing, and shipping mattresses and accessories. You will pick and fill orders, pack shipments, and ensure inventory is properly stored while delivering world-class service to customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of general work experience. The shift runs 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM with mid-week days off, and safety and quality procedures are emphasized throughout the workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year general work experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
• Stage deliveries.
• Store all product in designated locations.
• Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
• Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.
• Obtain appropriate signatures on paperwork.
• Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
• Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
• Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.
• Operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.
• Maintain grounds by picking up papers and trash, cleaning parking lot and entrance.
• Maintain stock and merchandise area; keep it organized and clean.
• Ensure cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floor, truck docks and aisles.
• Remove trash daily by emptying trash containers, transporting materials to disposal area, and recycling.
• Clean and sanitize product per company SOP.
• Complete all required training modules and certifications before due date.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external contacts.
• Follow company policies on appearance and brand representation.
• Communicate concerns or issues to leadership.
