Job summary

StarChild Academy in New York's Town of Florida is seeking a part-time Support Childcare Teacher for afternoons to assist our classroom teams and support children's learning and safety. You will help lead engaging activities, monitor development, and foster a harmonious environment where children and colleagues thrive.

The position aligns with Endeavor Schools' commitment to growth and caring education. Experience isn't required, as the most important quality is a love of working with children;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood development preferred but not required.
• 6 months experience in a certified child development center (1 year preferred).
• Ability to work with the assigned age group.
• Specific state standards and accreditation requirements may apply.
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop and smartphone.

Are You Qualified?

Whether or not you have experience working in schools, you may be qualified to work with us.The most important quality is that you love working with children.Some of our best educators have come from other fields, including customer service, healthcare, retail, and more!

• High School Diploma or GED
