Job summary

Chimney Cricket in Media, PA is seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, vehicles, tools, and equipment, with afternoon support for field and warehouse operations. The role offers a part-time schedule (approximately 25 hours/week) and an onsite presence in Media, PA.

Ideal candidates will enjoy hands-on work, work independently, and take ownership of keeping operations running.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, property maintenance, construction, automotive or mechanical work.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Automotive maintenance experience is a strong plus.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work indoors and outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain exterior grounds, parking areas, storage areas, and property appearance.
• Identify facility issues and address repairs and maintenance needs.
• Manage company vehicle fleet, including maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Coordinate vehicle service with outside vendors.
• Receive, inspect, and organize afternoon shipments.
• Provide coverage and support for warehouse operations as needed.
• Make parts, material, and equipment runs to field technicians.
• Coordinate outside contractors for facility repairs when necessary.
• Maintain basic records for facility, vehicle, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with special projects and improvements throughout the property.
