The Goddard School Avon is hiring resource teachers to join a dynamic early childhood education team. We offer both part-time and full-time roles with a focus on safe, nurturing classrooms and supportive school culture.

In this role, you will help foster social-emotional development, collaborate with teachers, and build strong family relationships while contributing to a joyful learning environment for children aged six weeks to six years.

• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development

• Working with the classroom teachers and in conjunction with the entire faculty

No Nights and Weekends!

We are looking for resource teachers (part-time and full-time) to join our team today. If you are a college student looking for part-time work, this is an excellent opportunity to gain teaching experience in early childhood education.

Hours for part-time float teachers generally range from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Full time float teacher hours generally range from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
