Job summary

Volunteer Community School, part of Chambliss Center for Children, is hiring for an afternoon position in Chattanooga, TN. You will supervise and engage with children from infants to Pre-K, Monday through Friday, 1:00pm–5:30pm, at 506 Spears Avenue.

Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, higher with experience and education. The role supports teachers, maintains a safe, calm classroom, and helps children finish their day positively.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background check.
• Reliable, friendly, patient, and good with kids.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and play with children.
• Help keep classrooms safe, clean, and organized.
• Support teachers and step in where needed.
