Job summary

Sunoco LP in West Fargo is seeking a Sales Associate for the afternoon shift 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm. You will deliver excellent service, process fuel and merchandise sales, and ensure shelves are stocked.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean store, handling cash, preparing food and beverages per health standards, and supporting store profitability. The role requires flexibility, strong customer service, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a convenience store, restaurant, or retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experiences on every interaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store environment
• Prepare food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
• Handle cash, funds, and merchandise responsibly
• Complete shift reports, including closing and balancing the cash register
• Verify customer identification for restricted purchases and follow all regulations
• Support store operations and assist with tasks as needed
• Adapt to customer needs and apply sales techniques to support store profitability
