Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team in Plainview, NY. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, offering a supportive environment where children learn, play, and grow under caring guidance.

You will collaborate with toddler teachers, implement our curriculum, maintain health and safety standards, and communicate progress with families via apps and discussions.

Qualifications

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children.
• Experience with toddlers and preschool-age children.
• High school diploma or GED (ECE coursework preferred).
• Meet any applicable state licensing requirements for the role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with other toddler teachers to implement our proprietary curriculum.
• Maintain quality compliance and health and safety standards throughout the daycare classrooms and programs.
• Collaborate with peers to create a great working environment and a welcoming and engaging daycare space for children.
• Communicate with parents and families, sharing their child’s latest adventures and achievements.
