Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC in the Bay Area is seeking an enthusiastic After‑School Yoga Instructor to lead calming, age-appropriate classes for elementary students. This part‑time role offers weekdays, 2–5 hours per week, with flexible scheduling and local travel to Bay Area locations.

You will use provided lesson plans, set up mats, take attendance, communicate with parents and staff, and capture session highlights with photos.

Qualifications

• 19+ years old with reliable Bay Area transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Yoga experience (teaching or personal practice) preferred, but not required.
• Enjoy working with kids and managing a classroom in a calm, professional way.
• Flexible, reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic with strong communication skills.
• Must pass a live scan background check and be fully vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Teach age-appropriate yoga classes (8–10 students) using provided lesson plans
• Teach using provided lesson plans and help create a positive and engaging environment for students aged 5–10
• Transport and set up mats and other yoga materials
• Take attendance, sign students in/out, and communicate with parents and staff
• Capture session highlights with photos
• Attend unpaid training/shadowing sessions to learn our program structure
