Job summary

Grandma's Finest Learning Center in Tucker, GA is seeking a passionate and nurturing After School Teacher to supervise and engage children after school hours. You will lead age-appropriate activities, reinforce safety, and support social and emotional development in a warm, supportive environment.

Candidates should be at least 18, able to pass a background check, and committed to teamwork. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. We offer a caring workplace and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Patience and genuine passion for child development.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet GA childcare licensing requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (will help get it).
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Have experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students in a safe, structured after school environment.
• Engage in age-appropriate educational activities, crafts, and games with the students.
• Maintain a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages growth.
• Follow all childcare safety protocols and center policies.
• Support the social and emotional development of each child.
