Job summary

Wonder Academy in Indian Trail, NC is seeking a compassionate After-School Teacher to supervise and guide children (6-12) during after-school activities. You will foster a positive learning environment and support students’ well-being while coordinating with staff.

This part-time or full-time position offers flexible hours with potential for a future summer role. Candidates should have a background in education or child development, pass the NC background check, and bring strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Teaching certification or licensure preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must obtain NC Child Care Criminal Qualifying Letter.
• TB screen and health assessment required.
• Experience with children in educational or recreational settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide after-school children.
