Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to join Champions in Nebraska. You will lead, coach, and mentor teachers in your classroom, implement KinderCare's curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children.

You’ll partner with parents to provide the best care and education and support center goals around enrollment and accreditation. You will cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners while meeting state

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, organization, and ability to multitask.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi‑task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
