Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to lead classrooms and mentor peers, delivering KinderCare curricula while adapting to each child’s needs.

You will foster a safe, engaging environment, partner with parents, and support center goals around enrollment and accreditation. A Bachelor’s in ECE is preferred, with CDA or NAECY candidacy encouraged.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Required Skills and Experience:

• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and_visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Range of pay $16.90 - $22.85 Hourly
