Falmouth Public Schools is seeking a part-time Strength and Conditioning Coach for Falmouth High School to lead the after-school wellness program. The role involves designing season-specific strength and conditioning plans for both male and female student-athletes, and collaborating with coaches and athletic trainers to support rehabilitation when needed.

Candidates should hold a CSCS certification or a Physical Education degree, and maintain current First Aid/CPR/AED credentials.

Qualifications

  • CSCS certification or PE degree required.
  • Current first aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
  • Experience with high school strength and conditioning.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement season-specific strength training for all students and staff and for male and female athletic programs.
  • Collaborate with sports medicine/athletic training staff on rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes.
  • Facilitate collaboration among sport coaches, sports medicine, and the strength and conditioning staff.
  • Develop policies and procedures for the strength and conditioning program per NSCA/CSCS guidelines.
  • Track athlete attendance and progress in conjunction with coaches.
  • Conduct annual needs-analysis for each sport with the athletic trainer and coaches.
