Job summary

Mad Science of WI IL & MI in Milwaukee seeks energetic, part-time instructors to deliver fun, hands-on science workshops after a thorough paid training program.

You will drive to schools, daycare centers or parks, lead a one-hour class, and enjoy a mileage reimbursement plan with flexible scheduling to fit your availability.

Most programs run in the afternoon or weekends with 1–5 days per week, and all supplies, curriculum and setup are provided.

You can work anywhere from 1 day to 5 days a week teaching a science workshops during the afternoon and/or weekends.

We provide ALL supplies, equipment and curriculum to teach the EASY, yet fun science classes. Most of our Jr. Scientists are in K-5th grade, you'll teach basic science concepts in a fun and engaging way.

What will you do?

• You will drive to a school, daycare or park and rec (we offer a mileage reimbursement plan)
• You will lead a one hour exciting, immersive and interactive science lesson (after a lot of paid training so that you feel totally comfortable in all ways)

Pay:

Instructing $30-$40/ per one hour class (with set up and take down it averages about $20 per hour at the beginning)

Most days you will work 1, maybe 2 programs per day. A typical instructor will work 3-10 hours per week, depending on availability.

**Extra hours may be available in our administrative office and on weekends conducting programming--let us know if you'd like more hours and we can discuss.
