Job summary

Hi-Five Sports is seeking part-time coaches to support our NYC and Westchester programs. You will engage elementary age children, motivate learning, and foster teamwork and sportsmanship.

Applicants should be patient, responsible, and creative, with strong communication with children, parents, and school staff. First-Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required for all roles.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary age children.
• Ability to motivate students to get excited about learning.
• Comfortable communicating with children, parents, and administration.
• Make recommendations for appropriate changes and resources.
• Creative, flexible, and innovative in working with elementary age children.

Hi-Five Sports is dedicated to the development of children through sports. Our objective is not only to teach the fundamentals of a sport, but to teach children teamwork, sportsmanship and responsibility through athletics.
We offer programs throughout Connecticut, Westchester and NYC and our programs include after-school classes, recess enrichment, sports clinics and camps.
We are looking for candidates who can embrace our "Hi Five value system" and help the kids develop a love for the game.
