Job summary

Brains and Motion Education is seeking a part-time Sports Instructor to coach soccer, volleyball, and basketball for after-school enrichment. You will guide students in learning, applying teamwork and discipline, and helping them grow athletically.

Responsibilities include leading soccer sessions, teaching fundamentals, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Candidates should have 1–2 years soccer experience, a background in teaching, and be willing to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in soccer.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring; coaching/teaching experience preferred.
• At least two years of college coursework (48 semester units), an associate’s degree or higher, or proof of certification meeting ESSA requirements.
• Excellent class management skills and the ability to work with students in K–8.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license or State ID.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
• Ability to lift and carry approximately 20–50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire students in soccer and sports activities; develop skills and confidence.
• Teach fundamentals of soccer from basic to advanced levels; allow progression at own pace.
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment; teach teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy competition.
• Implement BAM! Sports Programs tailored to student interests and skills.
