Job summary

Punahou School is seeking an ASC Leader to supervise Kindergarten–Grade 5 after-school care. Under the Extended Programs Manager, you will supervise students, plan activities, and communicate with parents to ensure safety and a nurturing environment.

You will collaborate with staff to evaluate program effectiveness and maintain a structured workflow while supporting a positive atmosphere for children.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education and six months of experience in working with school-age children.
• CDA certification and six months of experience working with school-age children.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and nine months of experience working with school-age children.
• Attend orientation prior to the start of the school year facilitated by Punahou School.
• Demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement and ability to organize information and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements activities that reflect the ASC program's vision and grade-level theme.
• Leads students through various activities.
• Creates a safe, engaging and supportive atmosphere for students.
• Handles day-to-day operations.
• Ensures health and safety of students.
