Job summary

Great Hearts Arlington is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Program Teacher to support elementary and middle school students with homework, enrichment, and fun in the afternoons.

You will be assigned to a specific grade-level class and lead a daily activity following a provided lesson plan, with activities including reading, athletics, logic games, art, music, and more, while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

• Some college (preferably with education or liberal arts major).
• Experience with children.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead and teach children.

Responsibilities

• Support elementary and middle school students in homework, enrichment, and fun.
• Teach a specific grade-level class and conduct a daily activity following a provided lesson plan.
