Paycom - ATS in Winnetka, CA 91306 is seeking an After School Program Mentor for TK-8th grade, part-time, with daily academic, recreational, and enrichment activities. You will guide students after school and support a safe, engaging environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (AA or college coursework preferred), experience with school-aged children, and strong communication. Spanish/Korean language skills are a plus.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Extensive knowledge of age-appropriate classroom and behavior management skills and age-appropriate activities
• Plan and facilitate fun engaging activities indoors and outdoors
• Lead groups of students in activities while placing a high priority on safety
• Work independently and collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students
• Passion for working with youth
• Fluency in a second language preferred (Spanish and Korean as high-priority languages)

Job Details: Job Location: CWC West Valley - Winnetka, CA 91306, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $26.50 Hourly, After School Program Mentors ("ASPs") are responsible for leading students in fun, engaging, and developmentally aligned after-school programming that provides daily academic, recreation, and enrichment activities for Transitional Kindergarten (TK)-8th-grade students.

Responsibilities

• Monitors students' arrival and departure to the out-of-school time.
• Tracks student attendance with appropriate student attendance programs.
• Plan, organize, and implement a variety of creative indoor activities and team sports, including mindfulness, and study habits programs.
• Supervise assigned students to ensure that they are safest all times and that the program operates according to the daily schedule in an organized and effective manner
• Oversee academic, homework, and enrichment activities
• Support student snack and supper program data tracking
• Travel to staff meetings, school meetings, and training as scheduled and required
• Other duties, as assigned by the supervisor

Work Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 1:45-6:10 p.m.
• Wednesday: 12:45-6:00 p.m
