Job summary

YMCA of Columbia-Willamette is hiring a part-time after-school program assistant in Ridgefield, WA to provide a safe, engaging environment for youth and implement enrichment activities.

You will work Mon-Thu 2:30–5:30 pm, collaborate with staff and volunteers, transport equipment between sites, and serve as a positive role model for participants while building strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Must pass YMCA background check.
• Availability Mon-Thu between 2:30-5:30pm.
• Possess (or obtain within 90 days) CPR/AED & First Aid Certification.
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe environment for learning
• Implement Curriculum for enrichment classes
• Establish good rapport with parents and participants
• Be a positive role model for youth in the program
• Collaborate with volunteers to lead delegation
