Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. seeks an After-school Instructor for Oxnard Elementary Schools. Part-time, Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–6:00 PM; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Pay is $19.00 per hour. Lead activities, foster curiosity, and create a caring learning environment.

Requirements: 48 college credit hours, CPR certification, ability to obtain fingerprint clearance; must be 18+, flexible schedule, and able to pass a background check. Part-time benefits are available.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Location: Oxnard, CA Elementary Schools

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM (No weekends! Par-time)

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Must have 48 college credit hours, CPR certification, able to get finger printed ASAP!
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency.

As an AlphaBEST Early Learning Education After-school Instructor you’ll be trained to do the following:

• Lead a group of student through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
