Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking an After-school Assistant Site Director for Lexington, SC. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, supporting the Site Director to provide a transformative, engaging after-school experience for children at Midway Elementary School.

Must be at least 21 years old with an eligible education pathway (ECE-related degrees, CDA, or ECD 101 with supervised experience). Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s in early childhood education or related field.
• Diploma in child development/early childhood education or CDA with 1 year experience.
• High School Diploma or GED plus ECD 101 with 1 year experience supervising staff.

• Assist the Site Director in creating a safe, engaging after-school environment.
• Support children and staff to ensure a positive, fun, and educational experience.
• Help with scheduling, program activities, and compliance with licensing requirements.

After-school Assistant Site Director -Part-time- Lexington, SC

Pay: $21.50 per hour

Locations: Midway Elementary School, Lexington, SC

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:30 PM-6:00 PM

The Assistant Site Director shall be at least 21 years of age and meet one of the following qualifications:

• An associates, bachelor's or advanced degree from a college or university in early childhood education, child development, child psychology or a related field that includes at least eighteen credit hours in child development and/or early childhood education.
• A diploma in child development/early childhood education from a state-approved institution or a child development associate credential (CDA), and one year work experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility.
• A High School Diploma or GED, and Early Childhood Development (ECD) 101 with 1 years' experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility. One year shall include supervision of child care staff.

Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations, and provide proof of experience.
