South San Antonio ISD is seeking an After School Program Assistant (Internal Only) to support the daily administration of the after-school program. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00 pm in multiple sites around San Antonio.

The position requires a High School diploma and about one year of childcare experience; duties include homework assistance, supervision during activities, basic first-aid, snack setup, and data recording.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; one-year experience in childcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily homework and activities.
• Supervise indoor programming and free play; monitor bathrooms and hand washing.
• Provide appropriate First-Aid to participants as needed.
• Set up and clean up nutritional snacks and meals as required.
• Record and maintain student information; perform other duties as assigned by the After School Program Facilitator.
