Tutoring Club is seeking enthusiastic instructors to tutor math and language arts to students. Proficiency in Pre-Algebra through Calculus is a must; SAT/ACT tutoring is a bonus. The role offers a warm, energetic environment and flexible afternoon/evening shifts after school.

You will coach students, tutor multiple subjects, strengthen study habits, and maintain detailed records. The team values passion for teaching, reliability, and the ability to engage learners in a supportive, fun setting

Qualifications

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic instructors who specialize in tutoring math and language arts to all students. Proficiency with classes like Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Calculus are a must. The ability to tutor SAT/ACT is a bonus, but not a requirement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coaching and guiding students to meet their academic goals
• Tutoring multiple subjects effectively
• Strengthening students’ study habits and identifying how each student learns best
• Motivating students who need that extra oomph
• Working with up to three students at a time
• Being engaging, nimble, and professional
• Keeping detailed records of tutoring sessions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (or currently enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor’s degree)
• 1+ years of previous tutoring experience (previous teaching experience is not required, but is a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work SOME of the following: Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm
• Ability to commit to one year with Tutoring Club
