Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking After-School K-3 Tutors to support Science of Reading initiatives. Positions cover K-3 grades, with two tutors per elementary school and site-based staffing preferred.

Hours are limited to a maximum of 5 hours per week at $25.00 per hour, starting on 10/19/26 and ending by 5/14/2026. A WV Elementary Teaching Certificate is required for this contracted tutoring role.

Qualifications

• WV Elementary Teaching Certificate required.
• Two tutors per elementary school.
• Maximum: 5 Hours/ Week.
• Tutors will remediate ELA and Numeracy Skills for grades K-3.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-school tutoring for K-3 students.
• Remediate ELA and Numeracy skills.
• Coordinate with site staff and school contacts.
