Job summary

HOKALI is seeking a Jiu Jitsu Educator to lead after-school programs for TK through 8th grade. You will teach age-appropriate techniques, promote safety, and build discipline, confidence, and teamwork in a positive learning environment.

Role requires 18+ years old, completion of pre-start online training (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR) and authorization to work in the US. Training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must complete 3 hours of online training before start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach age-appropriate Jiu Jitsu techniques and fundamentals to students from TK through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Foster discipline, respect, confidence, and teamwork through martial arts instruction.
• Plan and lead engaging Jiu Jitsu classes and skill-building activities.
• Adapt instruction to different ages, skill levels, and learning styles.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe.
