Job summary

HOKALI is seeking a passionate Hip Hop Educator to lead after-school Hip Hop programs for elementary and middle school students. The role emphasizes teaching, safety, creativity, and teamwork in a fun, supportive learning environment.

You will teach TK–8th grade students, plan engaging classes, and adapt to various ages and learning styles, with a Tuesday/Thursday schedule and competitive hourly pay. Training is required before start.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Willing to complete 3 hours of online training (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach age-appropriate Hip Hop dance to TK–8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Foster confidence, creativity, self-expression, and teamwork through dance.
• Plan and lead engaging Hip Hop classes and movement activities.
• Adapt instruction to different ages and skill levels.
• Maintain attendance and incident records.
• Prepare materials and keep spaces clean and safe.
• Manage behavior using positive reinforcement.
