Job summary

Kama'āina Kids is seeking an After School Group Leader in Honolulu for part-time hours. You will create a safe, engaging space for elementary-age children with activities ranging from outdoor games to homework support.

Ideal candidates are energetic, dependable, patient, and good team players, with a HS diploma or GED and at least 18 years old. Schedule offers weekday afternoons with no evenings or holidays.

As an After School Group Leader with Kama'āina Kids, you’ll create a safe, positive place where elementary-age children can play, learn, explore, and connect. From outdoor games and STEM challenges to art projects and homework help, you’ll keep kids engaged while being a trusted, encouraging adult in their day.

A Schedule That Works With Your Life

Looking for meaningful work without giving up your evenings and weekends?

• Monday-Friday afternoons


• Most shifts: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM


• Wednesdays begin around 12:30 PM for early release


• No evenings or weekends


• No holiday work

What You’ll Do

You’ll help turn everyday afternoons into something kids look forward to by:

• Leading games, outdoor play, and recreation

• Building relationships with children and families


• Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized program
