Overview

TGA Premier Sports runs a national sports enrichment program that specializes in at-school after school Tennis or Golf enrichment classes for elementary school students in the Wake County area. All enrichment classes take place on school campuses during the after school time period, usually starting between 2:00pm-5:00pm, and lasting 1 - 2 hours. We are looking for a coach who can coach one or both sports.

Responsibilities

• Coach one or both of the sports (Tennis and/or Golf) during after-school enrichment sessions on school campuses in the Wake County area.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction in a safe, supportive environment.
• Follow TGA curriculum training and use provided materials.

Qualifications

• Must be enthusiastic and love working with children.
• Ability to step out of your comfort zone and be a kid.
• Available in the afternoon at least 2-5 days per week and have a reliable source of transportation.
• Experience working with children; passion for sports and physical fitness.
• Previous instruction experience is not required; a passion for the games is essential and training will be provided.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and have a clear background check (this is required by schools to work on their campuses).
• Must complete new hire paperwork ASAP as processing can take several weeks.
• Must be able to communicate on a regular basis with administrators.
• Be willing to transport equipment to class and work 2-3 hours per day.
