Job summary

St. Rose of Lima School in Philadelphia is seeking an energetic After School Support Staff member to assist with student groups and a variety of activities after school.

You will help supervise students from preschool to 8th grade, support enrichment activities (art, music, dance, sports), and promote a safe, engaging environment while following IMS/ESF guidelines.

This part-time, on-site role runs Monday–Friday 3:00pm–6:00pm, with required training and a friendly team committed to student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school or camp setting preferred.
• Monday–Friday 3:00pm–6:00pm schedule.
• Complete IMS/ESF and state-mandated training and onboarding.
• Promote daily OST activities and collaborate with Enrichment Teachers.

Responsibilities

• Handle student group management and assist with activities (Art, Music, Dance, Sports).
• Supervise students and act as a positive role model.
• Ensure safety and positive behavior; report concerns to the Program Director.
• Maintain clear, engaging communication with students, families, and staff.
