Denver Public Schools is seeking on-call substitutes to support after-school programs and emergency staffing. You will perform routine tasks, assist team activities, gather information, and ensure compliance while delivering strong customer service.
Minimum High School Diploma/GED; current DPS employees preferred; live in Colorado; adaptable to flexible hours; compensation is $21.50 per hour; substitutes are paid for hours worked and not required to maintain a regular schedule.

Supports individual, team or department through practical application of knowledge, use of proven techniques, and adherence to procedures. Primary focus on execution of assigned tasks in a specific area of responsibility, with a non-technical scope and a high degree of customer service.
Responsible to ensure that students have a safe, structured, and engaging environment during emergency staffing situations. The position supports compliance with all state licensing requirements, as well as district and departmental policies. This flexible, on-call role is available to current DPS employees or approved district personnel who can provide short term support to after school programs as needed. Substitutes are compensated for hours worked and are not required to maintain a regular schedule commitment.
