• 60 completed college credits or equivalent instructional experience
• Strong English language arts knowledge for the assigned grade
• Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or supporting school-age students
• Effective communication, instructional ability, and classroom management

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate tutoring for individual students or small instructional groups
• Deliver structured lessons using approved curriculum, provided instructional materials, or assignment-specific learning objectives
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying student abilities, learning styles, and academic needs
• Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and academic growth
• Monitor student participation and progress through ongoing observation and informal assessment
