Job summary

Right At School is hiring educators to inspire a love of learning and support schools with safe, engaging after-school programs. You will deliver our dynamic daily curriculum, organize materials, and help children with homework and activities.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, experience with children, ability to lift 25 lbs, and state requirements like LIVE Scan, FA/CPR, and mandated reporter training. Hours are Mon-Fri, 2pm-6pm; pay $20-$22/hour.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or AA degree preferred; or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and healthy living.
• Meet state requirements: LIVE Scan, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with TB test.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials and document attendance and incidents.
• Deliver daily curriculum to engage children and support homework.
• Model positive guidance and classroom management to ensure safety and engagement.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Meet with Program Manager for progress and accountability.
