Job summary

HOKALI, Inc. is seeking an After Care Educator to supervise and support students from TK through 8th grade after school. The role focuses on safety, engaging activities, and academic assistance in a dynamic environment.

The position offers a consistent Mon-Fri schedule from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (with a 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM window on Wednesdays) and a compensation of $24 per hour. Authorized US work eligibility and pre-start online training are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Willing to complete 3 hours of online training prior to start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from TK through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational activities.
• Assist students with homework and academic support as needed.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and teamwork.
• Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain attendance and incident records.
• Organize snack time and outdoor play.
• Prepare materials and keep spaces clean and safe.
