Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a reliable temporary nanny in Wyckoff, NJ for an after-school role supporting two children, ages 7 and 10. The position focuses on driving to and from school and activities, with light afternoon supervision and homework support.

Work hours are weekday afternoons 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, approximately 6 weeks, with guaranteed hours and W-2 payroll through the family. Start ASAP and end date October 20. Must have own vehicle and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Must have own reliable vehicle for daily transportation of the children.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Prior professional experience caring for school-age children.
• Availability every weekday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, for the full engagement period.
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references.

Responsibilities

• School pickup for two children, ages 7 and 10.
• Transportation to and from afternoon activities and appointments.
• Afternoon supervision and care until parents are home.
• Homework support and assistance as needed.
• Preparation of afternoon snacks.
• Light tidying related to the children's afternoon activities.
